The danger of tolerating levellers in a civil state [transcription], 1646.

Handwritten and bound transcription, completed by Worthington C. Ford, of Gov. Edward Winslow's The Danger of Tolerating Levellers in a Civil State (1649). The tract was originally published in 1646 under the title, Hypocrisie Unmasked by a True Relation of the Proceedings of the Governour and Company of the Massachusetts against Samuel Gorton. It was written and published in London to counter a complaint by Gorton regarding the government of the Massachusetts Bay and Plymouth colonies.
